Practitionners who plan on grading during the seminar should fill a Grading Application ahead of time.

A dinner will be organized at The Cathay on Saturday night. Located at 228 Albert Street, The Cathay will provide a Chinese buffet for 15$ per person, tax and tip included. A staffed bar will be available.

Location

The seminar will take place at the Ottawa Aikikai dojo, located at 203 Catherine Street. Attendees should use the east entrance and make their way to the third floor.

The Kanata Aikikai would like to thank Don Dickie and the members of the Ottawa Aikikai for the use of their dojo for this seminar.

Accommodations

Hotel

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Best Western Victoria Park Suites hotel. The hotel is located at 377 O'Connor St, and is a short 5 minute walk away from the Ottawa Aikikai dojo. The room rate is 132$ per night for either one single queen bed or two double beds, single or double occupancy. Each room has its own kitchenette, free local calls and high-speed internet, and an included continental breakfast.

While the reserved block is for the nights of Friday March 26th and Saturday March 27th only, stays can be extended up to 2 days prior and up to 2 days after while still taking advantage of the preferred rate.

The block of rooms is held under the name Kanata Aikikai and can be reserved by calling 1-800-465-7275. When making reservations, please indicate that you are taking one of the rooms reserved under the Kanata Aikikai block.

Note that the hotel will only hold the block of rooms up until Friday February 26th. Past that date, any rooms left over from the block will be returned to the hotel inventory.
